The Cairo address is correct between October and May. The Siwa address is correct between June and September. Letters posted to the wrong address will, in either case, eventually find me — but the right address is faster by some weeks.

I read email on Friday mornings. Replies follow within the week if the question is short, the following Friday if longer. Email tends to be slower from the Siwa studio than from Cairo, because the connection at Beit Adrere is, in honest reporting, what it is.

What I cannot help with
- Booking, reservations, museum entry, or anything to do with arranging a visit. The Western Desert museums each have visitor desks; please write to them.
- Tour operator or driver recommendations. The arrangements I make for my own work are personal arrangements with people I have known for years and are not portable to other visitors.
- Photography commissions. I do not accept private commission work.
- Print sales through this journal. Please write to the representing gallery for exhibition prints.
- Authentication of antiquities. The Supreme Council of Antiquities is the right body in Egypt.
